Who we are
This website is operated by CA Dhaval Kodilkar, Mumbai, India, together with Accounting Ally. We are the data fiduciary for personal data you submit here. Contact: contact@accountingally.com.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry, download a brochure, take the AI readiness assessment or subscribe to the newsletter, we collect the details you enter: typically your name, work email, phone number, company, role and information about your training needs. We also collect basic, aggregated website analytics if analytics is enabled.
Why we use it (purpose)
We use your data only to respond to your enquiry, prepare and send a proposal, deliver requested downloads or assessment results, send the newsletter you asked for, and keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Consent
By submitting a form you consent to this processing for the purposes stated above, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are stored in a secure cloud database and notification emails are sent through a transactional email provider. Some providers may store data outside India with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to 3 years after our last interaction, or longer where required by law (for example, for invoices and tax records). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate another person to exercise your rights. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction with its own privacy law, you have the rights given by that law.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses essential browser storage to remember your cookie choice. If Google Analytics is enabled, it uses cookies to measure aggregate visits and form submissions. You can block cookies in your browser at any time.
Grievances
For any privacy concern or grievance, write to contact@accountingally.com with the subject "Privacy". If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
