How much does corporate AI training cost in India? What drives the price

By CA Dhaval Kodilkar· 6 min read

Why prices vary so widely

Two proposals for 'AI training' can differ by a factor of ten because they describe different products. A recorded tool demo for 200 people is not the same as a customised two-day programme with labs built on your workflows and support afterwards.

Before comparing quotes, make sure you are comparing the same scope.

What you should get for the money

  • A pre-programme assessment of your team's workflows
  • Use cases chosen for your team, not generic demos
  • Hands-on labs where every participant practises
  • A usage policy covering data and review
  • A written 30/60/90-day plan with owners
  • Some form of follow-up support

How to judge value

Divide the fee by the number of use cases that are in live use 90 days later. A cheaper programme that produces no live use cases costs more than a well-designed one that produces ten.

Ask providers how they measure outcomes, and agree two or three measures, such as hours saved on a process or report turnaround time, before you sign.

Questions to ask any AI training provider

  • Who designs the curriculum, and have they done the work our team does?
  • How will you tailor labs to our workflows without using confidential data?
  • What will each participant produce during the session?
  • What happens in the 90 days after training?
  • Can you share client references for similar teams?
